Many of API’s customers make parts for industries that require passivating, so API saw a need to provide a service that would give our customers a “one-stop shop” by providing citric acid passivation services.
Passivation improves the corrosion resistance properties of components made of precipitation-hardened, austenitic, ferritic and martensitic steels.
